ENGEL Machinery North America has a job opportunity for a North American Key Account Manager (“KAM”), Medical & Packaging with consideration being given to qualified candidates throughout the U.S.
Reporting to the Vice President of Medical & Packaging, Americas, the North American Key Account Manager (KAM) that will maintain and expand relationships with strategically important customers. This role requires the ability to manage complex accounts and capital equipment sales processes from day one, focusing on both medical and packaging sectors without geographic limitations. The KAM will be responsible for achieving sales quotas, building robust customer relationships, leveraging team-selling strategies, and utilizing SalesForce CRM to track and manage the entire sales cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Immediate Account Impact :
Take ownership of large, complex accounts, ensuring detailed oversight of capital equipment sales within the medical and packaging industries.
Manage accounts nationally while keeping a global perspective to meet and exceed strategic sales objectives.
Work closely with regional sales leaders, inside sales support, engineering, and various management levels to establish budgets and account development plans for strategic accounts.
Drive new account development and secure new business opportunities, proactively pursuing leads in a variety of geographical territories.
Use SalesForce CRM to manage the sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and inform data-driven decision-making.
Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned.
