Fire Protection Engineer - Long-Term Government Program in Honolulu, Hawaii

Requirements
- Citizenship : Must be a United States citizen and able to provide proof of citizenship (U.S. born or naturalized).
- Security Clearance : Possess or be eligible for a SECRET clearance .
Education and Experience :
Graduate of an accredited Engineering college curriculum (minimum four-year degree).At least six (6) years of design management and / or design experience in tasks such as fire protection engineering for multidisciplined projects.Professional License : U.S. Professional Engineering (P.E.) Registration in the discipline (preferred, but not required).Technical Expertise :
Broad-based engineering principles and strong technical knowledge in fire protection system design and implementation.Demonstrated experience in :Design and analysis of fire protection systems : water-based suppression systems, standpipe systems, chemical-based suppression systems, clean agent systems, fire pumps and controls, and fire hydrant systems.Advanced fire alarm and detection systems , mass notification systems, smoke control systems, structural fireproofing, and firestop systems.Life safety measures : egress systems, fire-resistant rated construction, and facility mutual fire exposure protection.Knowledge of electrical hazard classifications and hazardous material protection.Proficiency in AutoCAD and / or Revit for fire protection design and layout.Communication Skills :
Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.Experience preparing correspondence, detailed reports, and briefing management.Technology Proficiency :Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Adaptable to new software like eCMS, MS Teams, Zoom, and others.Additional Requirements :Complete the SF-85-P Questionnaire for Public Trust Positions .What We Offer
