Our client, an innovative technology company recognized as a leader in the Model, Simulation, and Training (MS&T), is looking for a Field Engineer to join their Simulation team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that contribute to a safer and more sustainable future.
What will you be doing?
As a Field Engineer , you will be responsible for the design (including scope and cost estimation), installation (including managing external resources), and support of assigned projects. You will work in close collaboration with the project manager to ensure project success.
The ideal candidate should have a relevant BS degree and / or applicable IT / Electronics certification, and possess experience with the installation and commissioning of simulators.
This is a fully onsite position based in the Fort Lauderdale office and requires 50% domestic travel .
Responsibilities :
- Preparing and reviewing project technical specifications, system design drawings, and scope of supply.
- Aid in on-site installation, assembly, and commissioning of simulators.
- Participation in FAT / SAT, and coordinating with customer representatives and other suppliers.
- Provided technical solutions utilizing preferred models and vendors for third-party equipment.
- Customer support via email, phone, and on-site during customer visits.
- Ensuring quality control of completed work.
- Continuous professional improvement.
- Adhering to health and safety requirements as applicable.
- Complying with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Following internal company policies and procedures.
