What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Specialist position at Enghouse?
As an Event Specialist with the Mediasite Events Team, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of Mediasite recorders and other event equipment, ensuring that all assets are tracked, maintained, and prepared for use in upcoming events. You will collaborate with team members and shipping providers to coordinate shipping, receiving, and maintenance processes, while supporting event execution through various administrative and technical tasks. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to improving workflows and efficiency. This role will need to be performed in-person, so reliable transportation and access to our home office is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Events rental recorder inventory including tracking location, availability, and condition of individual Mediasite recorders
- Manage non-recorder equipment inventory including tracking location, availability, and condition of individual recorders
- Coordinate the shipping, receiving and maintenance of all Events equipment including Mediasite recorders
- Prepare Mediasite recorders for use in Events projects
- Communicate with Team Lead, Event Managers, and Technicians about issues and changes with shipping and Events equipment inventory
- Develop workflows and processes to improve efficiency of shipping, receiving, and inventory management
- Document requests for additional equipment from Technicians and Event Managers and escalate to Team Lead
- Assist Team Lead with purchasing of equipment
Requirements:
- Proficiency in data entry.
- 3 years of experience in Logistics Management.
- Experience with CRM
- Experience with MP4/Vodcast ingestion and distribution.
- Strong editing skills.
- Ability to manage projects and handle administrative tasks.
- Availability for both on-site and remote services.
