Engine Power Source, a leading builder and distributor of Kubota engines, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently pulling parts and creating baskets that contain all necessary components for our assemblers to complete their builds. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be critical in ensuring that each assembly process runs smoothly.
What You’d Do:
- Pull parts from inventory accurately and efficiently to create complete baskets for assemblers.
- Ensure that each basket contains all required components needed for the assembly process, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency.
- Collaborate with the assembly team to understand their needs and adjust parts selection accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of parts pulled and baskets created to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling parts and operating warehouse equipment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Standing and sit down forklift certification is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of engine components and assembly processes is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy components and perform tasks in a physically demanding environment.
This position requires you to work onsite at our Rock Hill, SC headquarters. The standard schedule is Monday – Friday (4 days per week) from 8 AM – 5 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break. Overtime opportunities are occasionally offered and/or required. All new hires must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting pay ranges from $17.00 - $20.00/hour, determined based on experience. Additional increases awarded based on performance, primarily measured by productivity, quality, safety, and expertise.
