Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include managing customer orders, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various front-of-house operations to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers as they enter the establishment, providing a friendly and welcoming experience.
• Take customer orders accurately using the POS system, including Aloha POS, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently.
• Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including bussing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy.
• Assist with food safety practices by adhering to health regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns promptly.
• Provide support during peak hours in a quick service fast food restaurant environment, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Engage in sales promotions or upselling when appropriate to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is essential to maintain a safe dining environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
