Your Mission: As part of the Engine team, you'll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here's what you'll take charge of:
- Partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, data science, finance, sales, and marketing to define data needs, build data acquisition strategies, and establish reporting infrastructure for better-informed decision-making.
- Design and maintain data models across the organization, ensuring appropriate data integration strategies are in place.
- Lead the development and orchestration of ETL data pipelines, ensuring their monitoring, maintenance, and scalability.
- Enhance the performance and reliability of our data lake infrastructure and data warehouse, driving efficiency and accessibility.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to establish data assets and feature stores for process automation, advanced analytics, and machine learning initiatives.
- Manage and optimize business intelligence infrastructure, ensuring the organization has access to high-quality, actionable data.
- Experience: 5 years of relevant experience managing data infrastructure and building ETL/ELT processes at scale.
- Education: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Experience designing and deploying high-performance data processing systems, with strong monitoring and logging practices.
- Hands-on Knowledge: Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, Kinesis/Kafka, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work with teams across the organization, providing guidance on data architecture and best practices.
- Mentorship Skills: Passion for mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of learning and growth.
