The CAD Designer at Engineered Corrosion Solutions (ECS) will play a pivotal role on the product
development team. This role is focused on supporting the engineering and production teams with
high-quality designs, including CAD models and drawings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
exceptional mechanical aptitude, adept problem-solving skills, and effective communication and
organizational abilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Use mechanical aptitude and innovation to solve complex design problems.
- Assist in the creation and modification of detailed CAD models and drawings for ECS
products using Autodesk Inventor.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate and efficient designs
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of project specifications, CAD files, and
bills of material (BOMs)
- Perform quality checks on CAD drawings to ensure compliance with project standards and
specifications
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design discussions
- Support the production team with any required technical drawings or revisions
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in CAD software and fabrication
techniques.
Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of fabrication and assembly processes
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Aability to work collaboratively in a team
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with compressed air or pneumatic component assemblies
- Basic understanding of sheet metal design & fabrication processes
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent – required
- Certificate or Associate degree in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related
field – preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a CAD design or drafting role – required
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- This is an in-office position requiring regular working hours at ECS headquarters.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to maneuver and lift up to 50 pounds as necessary.
- Frequent hand-eye coordination is necessary for operating keyboards and related office
equipment.
