Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC. This role will play an important role in managing the efficient shipment and receiving of products, materials, and supplies and their flow throughout operations. This position manages Material Handler staff as well shipping, receiving, and packaging operations. This role is responsible for these activities at all three EP facilities. Ensures all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. Prepares schedules for Material and Shipping staff, training new employees on how to use machinery, and monitoring compliance with safety standards. High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to troubleshoot shipping-related issues will contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse. At Engineered Products, safety is paramount, so this role demands a keen adherence to safety regulations and guidelines while maintaining product quality.
Areas Of Responsibilities
Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds at a time.

Areas Of Responsibilities
- Establish material handling and warehouse practices, procedures, and protocols to achieve and maintain an efficient and safe warehouse.
- Develops overall material flow design from receipt of raw material to outgoing finished goods.
- Develop processes and plans to effectively utilize overall material space. Review and prepare workflow, staffing and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
- Manages and coordinates the work of employees who load and unload material as well as employees who transfer material between work centers and/or inventory locations.
- Oversees the utilization of hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility.
- Responsible for interplant shipments of goods, inventory, and work orders. This includes any related system and business process transactions.
- Process shipping and receiving paperwork, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Update customers regarding shipment statuses and delivery dates.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping information and order status.
- Manages staff by coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and reviewing safety procedures and protocols, monitoring work, and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Set team goals in collaboration with the Director of Supply Chain, Executive Management and Operations team leads and supervisors.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest federal and state safety regulations.
- Communicate and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely and efficient manner.
- Other duties or responsibilities within the scope of role as required or assigned.
- Efficient organization and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with shipping documentation and processes.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and transit/customs documentation.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems for recording and tracking shipping transactions.
- Ability to troubleshoot shipping delays and resolve non-conformance issues.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field, preferred, but not required.
- 10 years of production/warehouse management, inventory, logistics and/or distribution experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
