To set-up and operate necessary equipment to produce regrind that will meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be able to start up all machinery and equipment online and make any adjustments necessary to obtain a high quality Regrind
- Responsible for filling out daily shift reports, including logging all necessary production reporting data.
- Assume responsibility for safety and housekeeping by following all safety rules, reporting safety hazards, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Assume responsibility for quality Regrind, ability to dump Regrind and transfer to proper silos
- Assist in the training of new trainees by sharing knowledge and information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
- Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift
- High school diploma or GED required
- Able to work while standing for long periods
- Must be able to understand written and verbal instruction and communicate the same
- Must work well with others
- Ability to learn and retain information on products, operating procedures, quality requirements, set-ups, etc.
- Ability to work while standing for long periods (2 to 3 hours) and work in areas with temperatures approaching 115 degrees.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and time sensitive work that can change rapidly
- Displays consistent desire to do more than is asked to help coordinate processes to get the job done
