About the Role
This Senior Design Engineer position is responsible for designing and developing high-performance analog circuits for A/D and D/A conversion, as well as implementing low-noise and high dynamic range techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control systems and digital signal processing, as well as expertise in radiation-hardened electronics and their impact on circuit performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop high-performance analog circuits for A/D and D/A conversion
* Implement low-noise and high dynamic range techniques
* Work in both time and frequency domains to optimize circuit performance
* Develop and analyze power electronics/power management solutions
* Design and verify analog/mixed-signal ASICs
* Conduct radiation-hardened circuit design
* Interface with sensors
* Apply control theory and matrix mathematics
* Perform thermal, electrical stress, worst-case, FMEA, tolerance, aging, and EMI minimization analyses
* Utilize CAD tools for simulation and design
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
Experience in analog circuit design across multiple ADC/DAC architectures
Expertise in power electronics, ASIC design, and high-reliability applications
Knowledge of radiation-hardened electronics and their impact on circuit performance
Strong background in control systems and digital signal processing
Proficiency in electrical simulation and CAD tools for circuit design and verification
