Mechanical Designer: Building Mechanical Systems

If so, you could be a great addition to our building team at Engineered Systems & Services (ESS). We are looking for an energetic and detailed-oriented Revit and AutoCAD Designer in our Suwanee, GA office.
ESS provides design and construction management services for a growing variety of clients in government, healthcare, and water/wastewater facilities markets.
The successful candidate must be willing to work full-time, have drafting and designer skills from prior job experience or obtained from a technical school diploma program specializing in Revit and AutoCAD instruction.
Revit & AutoCAD Proficiency: Candidate must be proficient in the creation, development, and reproduction of Revit Models and AutoCAD drawings. The successful candidate will assist with designing systems for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Candidate must maintain ESS and client drafting standards for each project. In addition, the candidate must communicate effectively with project team members. This position requires acute attention to detail, adaptability, and strong organizational skills that will allow you to work efficiently and precisely.
Qualifications:
Education: Completion of a diploma program in mechanical design.
Experience: Entry level.
Availability: Full-time (in the office); Monday – Friday; 8 hours daily.
Language: Speak and write English proficiently.
Mobility: GeorgiaDriver’s license
Required Skills:
· Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
· Mechanical systems design capabilities using Revit and AutoCAD.
· Proficient with reading engineering plans.
· Capability to following verbal and written direction from supervisors.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Strong technical and organizational abilities.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Major responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining graphical data and drawings files.
- Producing drawings, details, schematics, and sketches to meet project graphical needs.
- Coordinating graphics standards with clients.
Additional requirements:
- Passing alcohol and drug testing.
- Undergoing a background check.
- Verification of US citizenship or permanent legal resident status.
- Providing three (3) character references with at least one reference commenting upon the candidate’s educational or job performance.
Compensation: Base salary $51,500 - $67,000, based upon credentials and experience. The position is eligible for overtime and profit sharing.
