What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee junior marketing members including Senior Specialists, Specialists, and Assistants
- Translate strategic marketing initiatives into actionable items for junior marketing members
- Enforce marketing budgets
- Engage in regular performance feedback for junior marketing members
- Assist Senior Marketing Manager, Department Manager, and Associate Director with staffing initiatives
- Oversee interactions with marketing / non-marketing teams to effectively support marketing strategy
- Lead marketing teams in department-specific projects and programs
- Collaborate within same marketing department to improve and unify marketing processes and procedures
- Collaborate with marketing departments on special projects
- Lead branding best practices
- Track trends and monitor marketing metrics
- Participate in professional development activities such as continuing education, seminars, classes, and / or professional organizations
- Mentor junior marketing staff
- Review RFPs to determine alignment with local office and company goals and objectives
- Facilitate strategic proposal marketing materials locally, regionally, and nationally
- Oversee production of standard and customized proposal marketing materials for cohesive branding efforts
- Follow up on pending submittals to determine wins and losses
- Facilitate presentations for both prime and teaming opportunities, as needed
- Provide regional information to report and monitor changing demographics and other relevant issues
- Identify and track strategic pursuits
- Maintain and update databases
