As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction site, including managing subcontractors, coordinating schedules, and ensuring project quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, and engineers, to ensure project progress
- Oversee the procurement and delivery of construction materials and equipment
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Monitor and report on project progress, making adjustments as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure project success
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Valid driver's license
