About the Position:
- Manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and support staff, to achieve project objectives and deliver high-quality results.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure that engineering deliverables meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure financial success.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, addressing engineering challenges and ensuring the application of best practices.
- Conduct cost analysis throughout the project in order to determine estimates to complete and/or additional funding requirements.
- Address questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Ensure compliance with client contractual requirements, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (P.E.): Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas (strongly preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 10 years of experience working in a refinery or chemical plant and/or with a consulting firm representing similar industries
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of desk work, including sitting and computer usage.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds when required.
