Accountant – Littleton, CO
Engineering Operations LLC is a Civil Engineering Firm specializing in structural inspection, load ratings and analysis. We are a dynamic and fast-growing company serving clients nationwide.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant for this newly created accounting position. This is a position with a lot of variety and will work with all the employees in the company.
The Accountant position is responsible for the following duties:
- Manage the review and approval process for Employee Expense Reports.
- Manage the review and approval process for Employee Timesheets.
- Process receipts and code Credit Card Transactions.
- Support State Department of Transportation Audits.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies.
- Generate Reports from Financial Systems for Management.
- Provide financial guidance to other departments as needed.
- Assist in accounting projects as they develop.
Contribute to month-end and year-end close processes
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software Deltek Ajera a plus.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
