This job is located in Ventura, CA .
Duties :
ESN is seeking Technical Writer with Framemaker expertise to join our engineering team to generate, update and maintain U.S. Navy Combat System Technical Capabilities and Limitations documentation for multiple ship classes.
Responsibilities include taking red line / draft materials from engineers and updating integrated text and graphics content for complex, multi-volume technical documents.
Applicant must have exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must be able to work well alone and as part of a government-contractor team.
All work performed within a secure office environment at Naval Surface Warfare Center PHD on Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC).
Qualifications :
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience using various production software (Adobe Acrobat Pro, FrameMaker, etc..).
- Formal training on FrameMaker helpful.
