ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
THE SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER WILL REPORT TO THE PRESIDENT AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
INSPECT CONDOMINIUMS, TOWNHOMES, RESIDENTIAL HOMES, AND COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE BUILDINGS TO DETERMINE DEFICIENCIES. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WALKING ON ROOFS AS THIS IS A FREQUENT TASK.
PREPARE ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS FOR PROJECT WORK BASED ON FIELD EVALUATIONS OF BUILDINGS.
PERFORM STRUCTURAL CALCULATIONS AND DESIGN REPAIR DETAILS FOR PROJECT WORK, INCLUDING LINTEL DESIGN, BALCONY DESIGN, ROOF FRAMING DESIGN, FAÇADE REPAIR DESIGN, ETC.
PREPARE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN DRAWINGS FOR BUILDING REMODELING AND GROUND-UP RESIDENTIAL DESIGN PROJECTS.
PREPARE BIDDING DOCUMENTS AND PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.
PREPARE WRITTEN REPORTS BASED ON FIELD EVALUATION OF BUILDINGS.
PERFORM PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS SUCH AS ROOF REPLACEMENTS, BALCONY REPAIRS, FAÇADE REPAIRS, ETC., FOR VARIOUS CONDOMINIUM AND TOWNHOME ASSOCIATIONS.
KEEP TRACK OF TIME ON ALL PROJECT WORK.
COLLABORATE WITH OTHER ENGINEERS AND ARCHITECTS TO ENSURE PROJECT WORK IS COMPLETED ON TIME AND UNDER BUDGET.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
4-6 Years Of Experience Working In a Similar Capacity.
LICENSED PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER, ARCHITECT, OR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN ARCHITECTURAL, CIVIL, ARCHITECT, OR STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING (MASTER'S PREFERRED).
BUILDING FAILURE INSPECTION, BUILDING DESIGN, ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
Self-starter Motivated To Help Grow The Company.
