We are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and manage a portfolio of Distributed Antenna System (DAS) accounts. This role requires a proactive professional who can cultivate strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the strategic expansion of our company. The ideal candidate will demonstrate fearless curiosity in exploring new market opportunities, positivity in action when overcoming challenges, and supportive synergy in working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities, expanding EWS’s customer base.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure continued business growth.
- Conduct outbound prospecting and actively seek new leads in the telecommunications industry.
- Maintain regular and meaningful communication with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by demonstrating trustworthiness and integrity in all interactions.
- Educate clients on our products and services, ensuring they receive the best possible solutions for their needs.
- Perform technical sales activities, including design recommendations and solution presentations.
- Review bid specifications, conduct site walks, and prepare detailed bids/quotes.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote EWS and its services.
- Ensure that EWS is positioned as a leader in the telecommunications and wireless solutions market.
- Maintain awareness of market conditions, regulatory changes, and advancements in wireless technology.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and customer orders.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members, fostering a culture of support and shared success.
- Embrace a growth mindset by seeking continuous improvement and learning from every experience.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Experience & Industry Knowledge:
- 5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager in Telecommunications.
- Demonstrated success delivering large venue projects such as stadiums, airports, hospitals, etc.
- OEM knowledge including (but not limited to) Comba, Cel-Fi, CommScope, and SOLiD.
- Good understanding of enterprise building and construction regulations and codes.
- Strong knowledge of Small Cell, E-RAN, DAS, and Wi-Fi architectures.
- Experience with Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems (ERCES) is preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions.
- Leadership skills that inspire collaboration and team growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Must be adaptable, resourceful, and solution-oriented.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
