The Paramount Brand Studio Activation Team manages integrated marketing campaigns on all screens and engages with several external and internal constituencies to deliver all aspects of a successful branded content program. The Activation Associate Manager will assist with the client-facing activation of multiplatform sponsorship programs across MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, Nickelodeon, Nick@Nite, AwesomenessTV, PlutoTV, and Paramount .

The Activation coordinator supports senior team members in LA and NYC in executing best-in-class campaigns that are industry-leading in creative quality and performance. The ideal candidate has shown proven success in project and people management, creative storytelling, client service, with extensive fluency across all media platforms. The coordinator will assist with various projects including, but not limited to, RFP responses, campaign management, department tracking, cross-company synergy efforts, award submissions, and marketing materials creation.

This role will require interacting with external partners, including clients, media agencies, creative agencies, and internal teams such as Ad Sales, Production, Programming, Media Planning, Multiplatform, Brand Marketing, Legal, and more. Professionalism and the ability to work well under pressure are required.

Responsibilities Include :

  • Support team member in LA and NYC in the management of best-in-class multiplatform marketing campaigns for Paramount's advertisers, including but not limited to in-show integrations, short-form video, social-first content, and experiential activations.
  • Spearhead tracking and maintaining team infrastructure.
  • Update internal tracking documents, status updates, show binders, creative briefs, team budget code requests, and necessary invoicing.
  • Produce weekly industry newsletter covering Studio weekend box office performance, competitive landscape, and new / innovative creative in the marketplace.
  • Contribute to submission materials for industry awards.
  • Review scripts to ensure proper vetting of various Paramount scripted shows to identify potential integration opportunities and advertiser sensitivities of brand association within the show.
  • Review content when episodes are delivered to ensure integration deliverables are met and flag any potential content sensitivities for advertisers.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and assist with RFP responses, conceptualizing creative ideas to align with the advertiser's objectives.
  • Proactively work with internal teams to develop new sponsorship packages connected to our shows / franchises / talent and help prepare sales materials to pitch these opportunities.
  • Collaborate on the creation of decks, one-sheets, and wrap decks.
  • Assist in the execution of marketing programs after sell-in, including but not limited to submitting sponsorship summaries, maintaining assets, and coordinating with various departments to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met.
  • Create internal briefs for campaigns outlining the marketing strategy, creative asks, deliverables, and resources.
  • Assist with program execution, including managing internal notes / revisions, routing creative to Legal, Standards, tracking production schedules, and other logistic elements.
  • Serve as team point for operational software including Airtable, Sponsorship Portal, SharePoint, High Spot, Base Camp and more.
  • Attend internal programming, sales, and marketing meetings and take notes for teamwide distribution.
  • Assist synergy efforts with Paramount Partnerships team for new theatrical releases and Franchise Planning / Consumer Products teams for Library Titles.
  • Assist as the liaison between these teams and IM Pitch points to drive theatrical / Library Title third-party partnerships.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 years of professional experience, preferably in Entertainment, Advertising, or Marketing (strong internship experience considered).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and Key Note a plus.
  • Additional Qualifications :

  • Ability to conduct research and compile data to create materials and business recommendations utilized by senior management.
