We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you'll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
We are seeking an experienced, highly creative, results-driven and forward-thinking procurement leader to join our Data Center Sourcing and Procurement (DCSP) team. As the Regional Manager of Professional Services procurement for APJC, you will lead the regional procurement category team supporting the Data Center Planning, Delivery and Engineering organizations.
Your team will be responsible for establishing and implementing robust procurement strategies for their respective categories. It will be critical that you identify new ways to forge partnerships with our supply base to achieve long-term, mutually beneficial outcomes. You will also ensure that the team can appropriately scale as the business grows, and you must be proactive in identifying ways to stay ahead of this curve.
As the regional manager, you must embody and model the team's mission, which is to be laser focused on the needs of customers, empowering them so they can have a more significant impact in their roles. The team serves the best interest of Amazon by engaging in ethical, transparent and professional transactions and takes ownership of procurement functions to increase high quality competition, promote supplier diversity, and elevate supplier performance.
