Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality healthcare solutions.
- Implement and follow best practices in software engineering, including clean code principles, unit testing, and code reviews.
- Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and compliant with HIPAA and other healthcare industry regulations.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely fixes and improvements.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and healthcare standards like FHIR, HL7, and EHR integrations.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA.
- Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., FHIR, HL7) is a plus.
- Proficiency with SQL and experience with RDBMS/NoSQL databases.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Jenkins, Git).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a bonus.
