Job Summary
This position will play an instrumental role in developing and expanding the company’s footprint in the region and contribute to achieving the business and revenue targets. Align sales strategies with local market dynamics. Understand and supports targeted sales approaches and customer engagement. Will play a pivotal role in driving regional sales performance, maximizing revenue, and expanding market presence. To lead the generator power movement by providing environmentally safe engine solutions to power the world’s electrical requirements.
Responsibilities
· Must have solid understanding of basic generator and electrical distribution principles.
· Clearly articulate the features and benefits tailored to meet the specific requirements of our customers and potential customers.
· Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
· Create and communicate sales goals and ensure executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
· Understand industry specific trends and landscapes.
· Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.
· Identify and acquire new customer bases across the region.
· Effectively manage and drive the sales cycle from prospection through to successful closure.
· Build and maintain relationships with key customers and accounts for growth and retention.
· Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to meet revenue goals.
· Analyze market trends and competitors’ activities in the region.
· Identify new prospects and reach out to them on a cold and warm basis.
· Conduct training and educational programs with customers and distributors.
· Deliver compelling and persuasive presentations on our generator sets to potential customers.
· Weekly call reports explaining in detail the contacts made and their prospective status.
· Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible.
· Positive, can-do attitude.
Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 3 to 5 years’ experience in direct outside industrial sales experience with a solid understanding of basic generator and electrical distribution principles.
· Must be able to successfully pass a background and drug test.
· Ability to understand, embrace, and implement new technologies as they evolve.
