You will be responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company’s reports and statements. This role is essential for managing the day-to-day operations of DBI’s financial integrity. This includes planning, organizing, and managing internal control procedures.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record daily deposits in QuickBooks by importing payment information from BillQuick.
- Accounts Payable maintenance, including but not limited to coordinating the setup and verification of client ACH information, reviewing and approving vendor bills in Concur, reviewing and approving weekly employee out of pocket expense reimbursements, and processing customer refunds.
- Creates standard, and non-standard recurring and required month-end journal entries for review and approval by Accounting Director, including, fixed assets, depreciation, expensing prepaid items, recognizing deferred revenue and other accruals, etc.
- Performs general ledger reconciliation, research variances, and make corrections as necessary
- Support monthly and year-end financial closes, including assigned journal entries, balance-sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational management accounts
- Prepare special financial reports, when requested by management, by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Provides audit assistance by preparing schedules and reconciliations as requested, as well as responding to inquiries from auditors as directed by Accounting Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
- One to Two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong working knowledge of Quick Books highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

- Interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

- Desire to continue professional growth through training.
The target salary range for this position is $70-85,000 annually (plus semi-annual bonuses). The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certifications, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
