ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Engle Printing & Publishing Co., Inc. (EPC) is the publisher of the Merchandiser, Advertiser, Pennysaver, Advertiser, Community Courier, Lancaster County Magazine and Where & When Pennsylvania. Established in 1954, EPC remains rooted in the local community, delivering positive, informative, and engaging news to the communities we serve. EPC is family-owned and operated.
SUMMARY: Generates sales revenue for Engle Printing & Publishing Co, Inc.’s Community Newspaper division. The advertising consultant position is an integral part of our sales operation and includes direct interaction of our local market, both in print and digitally. Advertising consultants are expected to maintain and grow existing relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will work in an excellent company culture, paid training and an immediate benefits package. As a team member with the Community Newspapers group, you will be expected to:

Generate sales revenue through an established client base in Lancaster County PA , while growing your territory

Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of territory opportunity and improvement

Develop and demonstrate knowledge of company sales and marketing portfolio, including rates, digital marketing services and non-traditional offerings

Effectively create and recommend products and services that meet the customer's needs, using data and portfolio knowledge to support recommendation

Provide top-notch customer service, maintaining the highest levels of personal and professional behavior in the market and in the workplace

A strong work history in advertising consulting and knowledge of Lancaster County is a plus
The Community Newspapers group consists of 15 weekly newspapers distributed throughout Lancaster and Chester Counties. Mailed weekly to more than 160,000 households, these community newspapers provide local news, events and more. townlively.com is the online host of the entire newspaper brand.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and a CRM program is helpful, as is experience with media sales.

A valid driver's license, auto insurance and dependable transportation are necessities.

Our advertising consultants work from home, so a minimum amount of office space is needed.
