Job Summary:
The Assistant Nurse Manager acts as a first line manager in assuming responsibility for the clinical manager of assigned staff on a designated shift. As such, he/she has shift responsibility and accountability for patient care activities and supports and extends the administrative leadership provided by the Nurse Manager. She/he regularly uses her/his independent judgment in connecting with her/his managerial responsibilities.

Shift: 8-10-12 hour evenings
Hours: Variable depending on shift.
Job Essentials: 3 years Med/Surg experience required. Bariatric experience preferred. Management experience preferred. Council Leadership experience preferred. Flexibility in scheduling preferred.
Education Requirements: BSN required, MSN preferred. Certification in Specialty preferred
License/Certification/Registry: NJRN, BLS
