What are the responsibilities and job description for the Workers Compensation/ MVA Care Coordinator For Busy Orthopedic Medical Practice position at Englewood Orthopedic Associates?
Job Duties:
- Retrieve and confirm benefits for all claim information needed to schedule a patient.
- Authorize all visits and procedures on all WC and MVA patients.
- Liaison between the patient and the adjuster and physician and adjuster
- Providing adjusters with necessary information to process the claims for reimbursement
- All administrative tasks that goes along with the WC and MVA experience within the practice.
Requirements:
- Having 1- 2 years experience with WC and MVA claims
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Having the ability to sit for long periods.
- Experience in an orthopedic practice is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.41 - $28.19 per hour
