- Integrate and align Colorado Academic Standards, instructional objectives, instructional strategies, learning activities, materials, resources, and assessments and differentiate lesson planning based on individual student needs.
- Use data management tools to analyze results and draw inferences from data to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide quality, accurate, constructive, corrective, specific, and timely feedback to students that encourages them to perform at their highest level.
- Effectively communicate with parents and staff about student’s progress and opportunities.
- Utilize technology and/or other avenues to communicate to stakeholders (website, podcasts, etc.).
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop PBL integrated with grade level Common Core State Standards, NGSS, and ISTE standards.
- Provide additional whole class instruction once a week for project design and production.
- Organize, supervise, and facilitate STEAM-focused after-school enrichment classes (Coding, Robotics, Lego design, etc.).
- Actively participate in all staff meetings, PLCs, and other required events.
- Apply and implement knowledge, skills, and new understandings to improve instructional programming.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) teacher facilititates student learning in the learning lab and supports classroom teachers in the integrated unit design. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching and/or facilitating colleagues and be experienced with supporting grade level teams with content integration. The responsibility of this position is to provide a strong foundation of learning in STEAM areas while promoting curiosity and passion for learning. Perform effective teaching methods to ensure student success and promote an exemplary educational program which fosters achievement for all students. Teach academic, social and other formative skills. Encourage parent/guardian involvement in student learning through open houses, volunteering, parent/teacher conferences, etc. Develop and promote good community relations among stakeholders.

Possible supervision of support personnel.

Per the negotiated agreement, all teachers that start after student first day are temporary.
