Key responsibilities include:
- Document review and collection:
Obtain and review all necessary loan documents, title reports, property appraisals, and other relevant paperwork to verify accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Closing disclosure preparation:
Generate and review the Closing Disclosure form, detailing all loan terms and fees, ensuring transparency for the borrower.
- Communication management:
Maintain open communication with all parties involved in the transaction, including lenders, realtors, title companies, and clients, providing updates on closing progress.
- Compliance checks:
Ensure all loan documents adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Funding coordination:
Coordinate the disbursement of funds at closing, including wire transfers and check distribution.
- File management:
Maintain detailed and organized closing files, tracking all documents and communications throughout the transaction.
- Issue resolution:
Address any discrepancies or problems that arise during the closing process, working to resolve issues promptly.
