Description
ENG (ENG) is a 36 year old publicly listed (NASDAQ:ENG) EPF contractor (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication) focused on innovative delivery of, cost-effective solutions.
ENGs expertise reaches three main market verticals: Oil & Gas, Energy & Renewables, Government, Automation & Integration. Services include EPF/ C(m) (Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction (Management)) projects that are largely completed internally.
Position Summary: Weld various steel parts per company drawings/specifications using AWS approved and qualified welding procedure specifications. Use and maintain related shop equipment for welding and product movement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: may include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment efficiently
- Tack-welds or welds components and assemblies, using Hardwire, Fluxcore, Stick , or other welding equipment
- Determines required equipment and welding method need for quality production, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques
- SMAW,GMAW,FCAW Welding Processes
- Communication with outside inspection agencies
- 3G
Qualifications
- Welds components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Ability to pass a weld test meeting AWS requirements
- Read and interpret company drawings and specifications
- Must have own hand tools
Education & Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2 years related experience and/or training.
