Marine Retail Sales Position (Crescent City, CA)
Englund Marine, a leader in the Marine and Fishing industry is looking for an experienced retail sales person, knowledgeable in marine and boating products for our Crescent City, CA location. If you are an upbeat individual who likes working with the public and being a part of a growing company where your efforts can make a difference, then this is the job for you!
Our store and our customers need a person who really enjoys working with customers to be the solution to all of their product needs. The ideal candidate has a marine product background and is a hard-working team player who has a cheerful, upbeat personality, who wants to be an active driver of the success of the company where they work!
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Working with retail customers to find the right parts for their needs
· Research hard to find product to help people find those parts that are not currently in stock. We pride ourselves in helping each and every customer fill their boating and fishing needs!
· Process customer orders using a computer system
· Purchase some products direct from vendors
· Merchandise the store to facilitate additional sales
· Restock shelves from back stock and new shipments
Skills Required:
· KNOWLEDGE OF BOATING / MARINE PRODUCTS A MUST
· Experience with marine electronics a plus
· Excellent attention to detail
· Outstanding customer service skills
· Computer experience a big plus
Time Requirements:
· Job is Monday through Friday with some Saturday’s during the year
· Base hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 7:00am to 4:00pm
· Longer hours are sometimes required during busy times or special events
