Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level I Trauma Center environment to deliver comprehensive patient assessments and interventions.
- Assist in sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
- Support patients with ostomy care and critical care needs, demonstrating expertise in specialized nursing practices.
- Educate patients and families on health management, including botulinum toxin treatment procedures when applicable.
- Participate in the development of individualized care plans for patients requiring urgent care or senior care services.
- Adhere to ICD-10 coding standards for accurate billing and insurance purposes.
Experience
- Previous nursing experience in hospice is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems and documentation protocols.
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control measures.
- Experience with botulinum toxin treatment and other specialized nursing procedures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A valid nursing license is required, along with any relevant certifications related to specialized areas of practice.
