What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Review Board Chair position at EngSoc?
The Engineering Review Board Chair hires and oversees a team of individuals known as the Engineering Review Board (ERB). The ERB is the primary dispute-resolution body of the Engineering Society.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Leadership skills
- Conflict Resolution skills
- An interest in policies and procedures (think lawyer!)
- Strong communication skills
As the ERB Chair you will be responsible for:
- Hiring and leading a team
- Handling grievances
- Approving policy and by-law changes
- Acting as a neutral third-party during decision making
