Key Responsibilities:
- Lead external audit engagements for a variety of clients, ensuring quality and compliance with auditing standards.
- Review and assess financial statements, internal controls, and business processes.
- Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and feedback.
- Develop audit strategies and execute audit plans, identifying risks and issues proactively.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy and thoroughness of audit documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting and audit standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in external audit within public accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification (or progress toward completion) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Range: $90 - $110K
