In this role, your will be responsible for supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate cost accounting records and ensuring financial transparency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking and analyzing costs, preparing detailed reports, and providing key insights that drive decision-making and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain cost data for products, including direct and indirect costs.
- Analyze cost structures and perform variance analysis.
- Collaborate with production and operations teams for cost-related data.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
- Monitor inventory and track cost fluctuations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Support audits and provide cost-related documentation.
- Contribute to cost control measures and improve financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- years of cost accounting experience, preferably in the Manufacturing space.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
