We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure in a high-performance data center environment. This role requires hands-on expertise in server hardware, network equipment, and power management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain server and network hardware.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and replacements.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts and outages.
- Ensure proper cabling and cable management for optimal efficiency.
- Support infrastructure projects, migrations, and capacity planning.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to maintain uptime and reliability.
- Maintain documentation of hardware assets and configurations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in a data center or IT infrastructure role.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of server hardware, networking (TCP/IP, switches, routers), and power management.
- Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA Server , Cisco CCNA, or equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces.
- Additional: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $80,000 - $125,000
