I am partnered with an exciting technology innovator in the Clean Energy sector, searching for a talented Electrical Engineer as part of a brand new position within the team. My client is a leader in the design and manufacturing of electromechanical products in to the Solar Industry and are seeking an enthusiastic EE to who will be responsible for developing, designing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in the plant.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain electrical systems in the plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Design electrical equipment, including control systems, switchgear, and instrumentation for plant operations.
- Analyze electrical problems and develop effective solutions to ensure plant operations are optimized.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems and equipment, ensuring reliability and longevity.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency and sustainability in the plant.
- Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements in solar power and recycling technologies and integrate them into the plant's electrical systems.
- Ensure that all electrical work is carried out safely and in compliance with established safety protocols.
- Document and report all electrical work carried out in the plant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in electrical design, installation, and maintenance in industrial settings
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD or PLC programming software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
