We are partnering with a leading construction firm to find a highly motivated and results-oriented Safety & Sustainability Leader to join their growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, implementing, and enforcing comprehensive safety and environmental programs that comply with all applicable regulations.
- Leading and supervising a team to ensure a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all company operations.
- Overseeing all project safety programs, including accident and fire prevention initiatives.
- Conducting safety inspections and identifying and correcting potential hazards.
- Maintaining accurate and complete safety documentation.
- Providing training to employees on safety procedures and regulations.
- Collaborating with senior management, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure safety compliance.
To be successful, you will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Occupational Safety) and relevant industry certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, CIH) (strongly preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of safety experience in the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
