A leading provider of mission-critical avionics and real-time data processing systems is seeking an experienced FPGA Engineer to join their team. This company specializes in developing high-performance hardware and software solutions for aerospace, defense, and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) applications. Their technology is used in aircraft, UAVs, and military systems to ensure secure and reliable data acquisition, processing, and transmission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and verify FPGA architectures for real-time data processing applications
- Implement VHDL/Verilog-based designs and optimize for performance, power, and resource utilization
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate FPGA solutions into larger systems
- Conduct simulation, verification, and validation testing using industry-standard tools
- Support system-level troubleshooting and debugging in lab and field environments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Positions available for 10 years or 3 years of FPGA design experience (Aerospace, Defense, or High-Speed Data Systems preferred)
- Proficiency in VHDL/Verilog, Xilinx Vivado, Quartus, or similar toolchains
- Experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, etc.)
- U.S. Citizenship required (Security clearance eligibility preferred)
