The ideal candidate will have expertise in Lean/Six Sigma and experience in high-volume manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and Adjusting Production Schedules: Based on demand, inventory, and labor requirements
- Optimizing Workflows: Using Lean tools such as 6S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping
- Maintaining Capacity and Resource Utilization: Recommending staffing and equipment adjustments
- Enhancing Inventory Management: To reduce waste and costs
- Analyzing Costs and Tracking KPIs: Cycle time, yield, and defects
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: With engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
- Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: ISO and OSHA
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering: Master's degree or certifications preferred
- 5 Years of Experience in Production Planning: Automotive, aerospace, or fabrication industries preferred
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP Systems: SAP, Oracle, or Epicor
- Data Analysis Tools: Excel, Minitab, or Power BI
