RF Hardware Design Engineer

About the Role :
We are seeking a skilled RF Hardware Design Engineer with expertise in PCB hardware design and testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RF, high-speed digital, and mixed-signal PCB design, along with a deep understanding of the full hardware design lifecycle—from specification through validation. Experience with 5G LTE design is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design and development of RF and high-speed digital PCBs, from concept to production.
- Develop and refine system specifications, block diagrams, simulations, schematics, and PCB layouts.
- Conduct engineering characterization, verification, and validation testing to ensure compliance with industry standards (EMC / EMI, Telcordia, NTIA, Safety / UL, 3GPP, etc.).
- Select and source RF components to meet system performance requirements.
- Perform necessary simulations and trade studies to optimize circuit performance.
- Drive PCB layout activities, preferably using Altium Designer.
- Utilize tools like Keysight Genesys / Pathwave and Ansys HFSS for RF circuit and PCB design.
- Set up and operate RF test equipment including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and RF calibration tools.
- Develop and / or direct test automation for hardware characterization and verification using Python.
