Job Title: Senior Accountant

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to our financial operations while advancing into an Assistant Controller position. Ideal candidates will bring strong accounting knowledge, experience in financial reporting and month-end closings, and familiarity with GAAP principles. Knowledge of Sage accounting software (commonly used in Construction and Real Estate) is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Provide financial reporting to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Utilize Sage accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in Construction or Real Estate industries.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
