What You’ll Do
- Lead Design & Development : Develop and refine structural systems for mobile robots, from concept to production.
- Analysis & Optimization : Conduct FEA, tolerance analysis, and other evaluations to enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with electrical, software, controls, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Problem-Solving : Identify design challenges, implement solutions, and drive continuous product improvements.
- Technical Communication : Convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences while fostering a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.
- Hands-On Engineering : Engage in prototyping, testing, and refining designs.
- Documentation : Create precise dimensional drawings following ANSI Y14.5 standards with GD&T, manage BOMs, and process ECOs in PLM.
- Travel : Up to 20% travel may be required.
