Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tax advisory and compliance services to real estate clients, including developers, investors, and property managers.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Conduct research on complex tax issues related to real estate transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, and lease agreements.
- Review and prepare tax returns for various real estate entities, including partnerships, corporations, and individuals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients and stay abreast of changes in tax laws affecting the real estate industry.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on technical matters and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; master’s degree or advanced degree preferred.
- Accountant CPA or JD required.
- Minimum of (5) five years of experience providing tax compliance and consulting services, with a focus on real estate taxation.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience, with the ability to mentor and develop staff members.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and tax software applications.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
