We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Trading Operations Engineer to become a key member of our strategy development team. This individual will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional technical support to traders and developers, while ensuring that our trading operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues impacting proprietary trading software
- Keep users informed about incident progress and resolutions in a clear, timely manner
- Monitor and assess trading system performance, identifying and addressing potential problems
- Maintain application and system reliability and availability during market hours
- Design and implement automation tools and scripts to optimize operations
- Conduct thorough analysis of complex systems to uncover underlying issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new features and enhancements that improve performance, reliability, and scalability of trading systems
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in application support, site reliability engineering, or similar roles involving high-performance applications
- Proven experience with Kubernetes in a production environment is essential
- Strong programming skills, with proficiency in Python and Bash
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus), cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with CentOS or Ubuntu is a bonus
- Independent, self-motivated, with a deep passion for technology and problem-solving
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
Salary : $200,000 - $325,000
