Responsibilities and Qualifications
As a Hospice RN, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in various settings, including private homes and residential care facilities.
- Working collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
- Supervising LVNs/LPNs and CNAs to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold a current RN license in the state of employment.
- Have a valid state driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and dependable transportation.
- Possess at least one year of clinical experience, preferably in home health or hospice settings.
