The Director of Nursing / Branch Director role will oversee the operations of our home health agency in Hartwell, GA, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and compliance with Medicare regulations. In this role, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to our clinical and non-clinical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. This role requires a visionary leader with strong clinical expertise, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for home health care.
Office Location: 600 Chandler St., Hartwell, GA 30643
Patient Coverage Areas: Elbert, Hart, Oglethorpe, Wilkes Counties and part of Madison County
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and direction, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical best practices.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care plans and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as a liaison between staff, patients, families, and other healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication and patient care coordination.
- Manage and resolve patient and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in home health care practices.
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 years in home health.
- Previous leadership or management experience within a home health or related healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Medicare regulations and accreditation standards for home health agencies.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of healthcare professionals.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous quality improvement.
