Enhance Health is seeking a dedicated Member Services Agent to join our dynamic call center team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional support to our members enrolled in ACA (Affordable Care Act) and Medicare Advantage plans.
Position Overview
As a Member Services Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for our members, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will handle inbound calls, assist with policy information, and guide members through various processes related to their health insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from members regarding their ACA and Medicare Advantage plans
- Provide detailed information about policy coverage, benefits, and claims processes
- Assist members with navigating our online portal and resolving login issues
- Process member requests according to established department policies and procedures
- Research and investigate complex inquiries to address member concerns effectively
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary
- Meet or exceed call center performance metrics and service level agreements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role preferred
- Knowledge of health insurance, ACA, and Medicare Advantage plans is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using computer systems and multiple software applications
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills
- 2-15 or 2-40 License (ACA Member Service Role)
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms
