RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, and outside sales representatives.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
- Proactively identify and resolve customer issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal team such as Sales, Purchasing, and Warehouse to address customer needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Supervise and mentor the Inside Sales Team, providing guidance and support.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Implement training programs to enhance customer service skills and knowledge.
- Identify areas of improvement in customer service processes and procedures.
- Implement and monitor new initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency. Analyze customer and sales team feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in customer service.
- Assist in training new Outside Sales Reps
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience dealing with customers in a similar environment
- Prior experience in the packaging distribution industry is a huge plus.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
- Possess a strong understanding of the corrugated packaging industry, including products, processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
- Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, primarily Microsoft Office Products and Outlook.
