Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual Coordinator to join our team in a centralized role responsible for managing staffing needs across multiple agencies. This position will initially cover New Jersey, with plans to expand to Pennsylvania (Philadelphia and Allentown areas) as our operations grow. The ideal candidate will have experience in homecare coordination, fluency in both English and a second language, and familiarity with HHAX software. This is a fully remote position, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage staffing needs across multiple agencies, ensuring the appropriate homecare staff is assigned to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling and placement of homecare staff for clients across New Jersey, and later expanding to the Philadelphia and Allentown areas in Pennsylvania.
- Act as the central point of contact for staffing inquiries and concerns from field staff, clients, and management.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of staffing schedules, employee availability, and client needs to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and agency policies regarding staffing, client care, and service delivery.
- Collaborate with local offices and agency teams to resolve any staffing or scheduling issues.
- Leverage HHAX (or similar systems) to manage and track scheduling, staffing, and reporting functions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care staff in both English and the second language (i.e., Spanish, Portuguese, etc.), ensuring clear understanding and addressing concerns as needed.
- Provide support to other team members in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, and training as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in homecare coordination or related field.
- Bilingual
- Experience using HHAX or similar homecare management software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Ability to problem-solve and demonstrate a proactive approach to staffing and coordination challenges.
